Saturday morning, 24th Feb. 2001, the weather is just
horrible but we are 23 people more than motivated to go for a week-end
full of sensations (and we'll even have more than expected
!) for a 2 days trip by snowshoes in Belledonne ...
First meeting at 12.30 at CERN ...

Arturo is starting to be fed up waiting ... :-) He's maybe fed up
but if somebody thinks that Arturo is drunk, he's wrong !!!

Finally we manage to get the last road (the one which
was supposed to bring us until the parking ...) and real problems
are starting here ...

5 pm ! We've parked our cars all the way
long, put our bags everywhere, the dark is coming, fog is still there
but we won't get unmotivated so easily !!! |

5.30 pm, that's UNBELIEVABLE !!!
Everybody's ready and we're finally leaving !!! :-)

It will take us about one hour and a half to reach
the parking and then there's no more pictures because nobody (even
not the camera) was able to see anything ...
|

|
9.00 pm : after 2 hours walking with quite bad conditions,
we are still a couple of survivors (we've lost only 5 persons which
is not so bad ...:-)) ) and we find a cabane EDF on the way
which sounds so nice and comfortable that we take the decision
to stop there !!! :-))

drinks that everybody brought ...

Finally, after 2 hours fighting in order to get a
place on the floor, everybody (but Pierre-Yves Le Breton) is ready
to have a nice sleep !
